Who likes electrical cords in their tank? No one. That’s why we’re giving away a Vortech MP10w ES. Yup, that’s the new wireless MP10 model featuring the EcoSmart driver.

As with all Vortechs, the motor of the MP10 is kept outside the aquarium, meaning there are no cords to go up and over the sides of your precious glassbox–and no incredible reef scenes ruined by a stray powerhead cable.

To enter the giveaway submit a photo or video that:

• Show us cord clutter in your aquarium that would be reduced by a Vortech

OR…

• Show us your already existing Vortech cord organization that’s deserving of another clean pump

To submit your photo or video, upload the file to your favorite photo/video sharing site [We recommend Flickr & Vimeo] & leave a comment on this GBD article. More details below.

Drawing: The giveaway will end on Wednesday September 1, 2010 @ 10PM Central. The winner will be selected by our staff and contacted the following day.  In the event of a split decision, readers will have the opportunity to vote.

We’re looking for originality – think outside the box. You don’t need to be a pro photographer, but make sure your image or video is clear.

Increase Your Odds: Spread the word on Twitter, Facebook, your favorite forum, or even your personal blog to double your entry and increase your odds of winning. Be sure to also include a link to your  tweet / status update / post or blog in your entry comment.

If you haven’t noticed the new banner on the site, you will now. Reef Odyssey is a new specialty coral e-tailer, launched by Ian Borchert out Santa Barbara, California. Many of you coral collectors likely know Ian for his impressive collection of chalices, acroporas and faviids. Over the past few years Ian has been collecting and growing out broodstock and now Reef Odyssey is the end result.
