    Who likes electrical cords in their tank? No one. That’s why we’re giving away a Vortech MP10w ES. Yup, that’s the new wireless MP10 model featuring the EcoSmart driver.

    As with all Vortechs, the motor of the MP10 is kept outside the aquarium, meaning there are no cords to go up and over the sides of your precious glassbox–and no incredible reef scenes ruined by a stray powerhead cable.

      My 38 gallon reef was beautiful and vibrant but the two power cords hanging off the Stream pumps broke the illusion;

      When I set up my 220g tank, I happily used instead Vortechs so that I would not have any cables inside my tank;

      This is just dangerous… especially when my hands are soaked with saltwater.

      Only a mp10 could save me from electrocution and my too many koralias…

      I would love nothing more than to ditch this closed-loop plumbing nightmare (if you can even see it) for a clean and efficient Vortech!

      This is a shot of my tank. It is a work in progress with all the Macroalgaes grown from little fragments. The set-up is trying to replicate a planted tank with saltwater species and colors. (They are too small to see but there is a blue zoo colony starting up in he left foreground and a baby RBTA in the right middleground.) With the aquascaping I have hidden one of the powerheads but the Tunze nano and its cord is a HUGE eyesore and cannot be hidden with the layout. I have left the algae on the cord figuring it might as well grow some food for the copepod population.

      Without a sump I am stuck with everything in the display tank, this means my 4 koralia nanos, 1 koralia evo, hob refugium, hang on back skimmer, thermometer, and heater all have cables running through the display tank! …I should probably upgrade the nanos…
