Saw a guy walking out of a LFS once with a kittens head sticking out of his shirt, we thought he had it under his shirt to keep it warm, turns out he was stealing the cat.

While I certainly sympathize with the store, and definitely do not condone theft, I cant think but this store/employee was pretty foolish. Who lays $1000 worth of corals, bagged and boxed, ready to go, 3 feet from the door, and then goes into the back room? Imagine if a jeweler did that with a $1000 watch. Plopped it on the counter, and then went into the back room. Would you feel sympathy, or contempt?

Again, while I hope they catch this guy, and fill his britches with bristleworms, that was just a really dumb thing to do by the employee. At least put the box behind the counter if youre going to leave the customer unnattended up front. Unless, of course, you know the person well enough to trust them, or identify them.......
