Sicce Voyager shows off flow pattern in video. See how the 6 output quasi-stream pump pushes water and how owners can manipulate the velocity and spread.
It’s been 2 years since we first saw the Sicce Voyager pop up in Italy and then Germany for 2008′s InterZoo. Now they have just begun hitting retailers, and the biggest questions is what type of flow does this pump generate?! Check out the Sicce Voyager video to see for yourself.
The Voyager takes cues from both centrifugal and stream pumps to arrive at a unique energy efficient design. The Voyager uses a large intake area for less restriction, coupled with a segrageted volute that pushes water out of 6 evenly placed holes on the front of the pump.

The Voyager boasts flow ratings of 800 to 1,600gph at just 7 to 14 watts per the respective model. The pump also come with a a magnetic base to attach to the aquarium that allows 360 degree rotation of the pump. These should prove to be an affordable alternative from the respected Italian pump manufacturer.
