This past Tuesday, Australian based LFS Seca Marine Life was broken into and robbed. Local news agencies are reporting that 6 baby pythons were taken while the fish folding systems were spiked with an unknown substance–killing the majority of the fish in the 34 tanks and severly injuring those that pulled through.
It is being estimated that $30,000 AUD ($20K USD) in marine fish were lost. Owner Robert Anderson we understandably distraught over the ordeal and believes the attack was from someone within the industry. He also suggested their recent price changes may have spurred the action. “We’ve only just lowered our prices and it’s a very competitive market out here,” said Anderson to Leader News.
Authorities hope to find the people responsible and are considering pressing animal cruelty charges; rightfully so. Catch those [ insert profanity ].
Thanks Abe
