Reef Central has recently made their popular forum Tapatalk enabled. Tapatalk is an iPhone, Android, and Nokia mobile application that allows users to browse and interact on their favorite online forums.

Tapatalk is available for numerous forums beside RC. In fact, the largest reefkeeping forum is joining a few others that are already Tapatalk enabled such as Manhattan Reefs, Michigan Reefs, Reef2Reef, and for french speakers–Recife.ch.

Any forum powered by the popular vBulletin or phpBB software can utilize the app via Tapatalk’s free forum plugin. Like anything in life, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. While the forum owners themselves do not pay, users do.  iPhone owners can browse forums with the Tapatalk iPhone app for free, but they will be forced to pay up $2.99 for the full version which allows users to reply to posts and see full size images.

If you’re using an Android based phone, the app is currently in Beta and full versions are free until all the kinks get worked out. Blackberry users are out of luck at the moment–though a crackberry version is in the works.

I don't see a FS forum. Is that in the works or not allowed?
