Singapore based SKIMZ will be infiltrating the German aquarium market–sort of. Popping up at some retailers and numerous German Aquarium forums is a “new” marine equipment brand by the name of Nyos. Drawing inspiration from the Sony name and VAIO logo, the company decided to make an anagram in honor of the electronics powerhouse.

Nyos is marketing the skimmer shown above as part of their Compact Series. The renderings, Eden pump, and flared base do not attempt to hide that this skimmer is actually the¬†Skimz Monzter E Series Internal.¬†There is not yet any word if they will also bring in Skimz’s Kone model, although images do suggest so.

      Sony?
it even can’t beat an software company doing hardware (xbox 360 is better than ps3 even without bluray)…

of course not talking about other lcd hifi brands and the rest…
don’t know why it did grow as a brand…(my experience with sony was angustiatic to say the least, equipment faulty…) marketing brain washing or something…
did put the brand high in ours brain..

maybe it is a good move…it might activate the vaio affected neurons….from an previous commercial from sony….who knows…
