MACNA 2010 will kick off this Friday in Orlando, Florida. Will you be there? If so, give us a shout. If not, keep an eye on the site, as well as our Twitter and Facebook pages for the latest updates from the event.
MACNA is a fun hobbyist driven, social show–a completely different animal than tradeshows such as InterZoo and Backer. That said there will be some unique things going on. Here’s a brief list of what we’re looking foward to.
- EcoTech Marine’s latest newsletter leads one to believe they will be releasing a new pump. Rumors have been running rampant since the last show, but on Friday EcoTeech is giving us reason to get “PUMPED”.
- Aqua Illumination will be showing off their new AI Super Blue as well as their Wave Strips and a smaller Sol model for the nano crowd. We think this new light will have the magic touch.
- Some new talks this year with a great line up of talks. These speakers in particular have some exciting topics
- Ken Feldman
- John Coppolino
- Charles Delbeek
- Sanjay Joshi
- Julian Sprung
- Rich Ross
- Premium Aquatics will be showing off their “LED Cloud” with products from practically every manufacturer–including the new Vertex Illumina.
- CoralVue and AquaMedic will also be showing off their own LED lights
- Aquarium Specialty will have more BioPellets than you can imagine along with some niche European products
- Reef Nutrition has a new product that will entice fish and corals
- Marineland will have their Reef Capable LED light on display
- Saturday night has a tall order to live up to last years Manhattan Reef’s Party…
See you there.
