    If you haven’t noticed the new banner on the site, you will now. Reef Odyssey is a new specialty coral e-tailer, launched by Ian Borchert out Santa Barbara, California. Many of you coral collectors likely know Ian for his impressive collection of chalices, acroporas and faviids. Over the past few years Ian has been collecting and growing out broodstock and now Reef Odyssey is the end result.

    As part of their launch Reef Odyssey is giving away a $75 gift certificate to one lucky GBD reader.

    How to Enter: Check out ReefOdyssey.com and let us know in the comments your favorite Reef Odyssey coral. Use a valid e-mail and you’ll be automatically entered.

    Who Can Play: Anyone 18 years or older in the U.S. (apologies to our international readers). Limit one entry per person. For additional rules see here.

    Drawing: Entries close at 10:00PM Central on Sunday, March 21st. The winner will randomly be drawn the following day.

    Shipping: The winner must redeem the $75 gift certificate within 60 days. Coordination of the order will be handled by Reef Oddyssey. As such, by entering this contest you give GBD the right to pass on your contact information to Reef Odyssey in the event that you win.

      Nice site, a few suggestions:
      -dial back the actinics a bit in the photos or maybe offer an alternative photo.
      -add pricing info when your in the list view
      -for the sub categories, ie Acan, Chalice …, change to font color so it's not black on black background.
      -I like the photo gallery, man the Dazed and Confused is amazing

      If I had to choose my favorite on-site would be the Tyree Triton Favia colony.

      Thanks for the suggestions Swampy. If you read the descriptions of each coral, you'll find in most cases it indicates to click the 'enlarge' icon for a full spectrum light photo.

      The sub categories are listed on the left hand column as well as the center of the page. That said, I do appreciate the feedback and will see what I can do to make the pricing visible in the list…
