Tom, It really depends on the individual tank set up. I personally prefer the MP10, but there are cases where the MP40 is a better option due to its power. FWIW, I use a combination of the two on my personal display.

Great news. I was planning on getting 4 MP10w's for my 125 gal. Is there any reason i'd be better off with two MP40w's, aside from electricity usage?
