Freshwater has waves too you know ;) This looks sleek, so I'd like to see similar ones on production here in Ontario, Canada.

Wave make a few bits and bobs, including some nano tanks that are popular over here.

There's one with curved front glass (i.e. smaller surface area than base) that I keep pondering an experiment with you might want to look out for.

I think these new tanks look quite pretty. I'm in the market for a new tank of that sort of size (touchwood!) but will probably got for something more traditional/chunky and cheaper. I'm still renting my place, and don't feel I can/should stretch to a custom glassbox-style job until I know the room the tank is going to live in for a few years...

Don't sigh! Your design-led work is not in vain - far from it!

re:"You can make a tall, skinny tank rimless, but its still tall and skinny"

I hear that.

though perfectly honest, i wouldn't buy one if it were 3 feet deep. hard to pass judgment on the stock image, but those look kind of cheap. not to mention, gloss just doesn't do it for me.

Those look nice - I only wish they'd made them wider. You can make a tall, skinny tank rimless, but its still tall and skinny :)

Whatever the manufacturers say about this setup, without any surface skimming it is clearly geared for freshwater planted tanks or just a fish tank. It's pretty but the name is deceiving.
