• The NOAA has released a new report on the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. This is where Genicanthus personatus can be found (in shallower waters than the main islands, along with Centropyge interrupta. Collection is strictly prohibited  at this marine park to protect “one of the last remaining intact large-scale, predator dominated coral reef ecosystems on earth.”  Chapter 5 dedicated to fishes is worth a look through.
