      Hi Eric-was there any mention on pricing for the New Wave pump? I’m always looking for something complimentary to the VorTech that I can put on the other end that works well, but isn’t super expensive. Just curious…thanks for all the updates!!!

    • pavlo

      Nicholas, nothing compliments a vortech like another vortech! if you look around you can find the new 20′s for under $200…

      aquavitro Salinity – would the box be offered at a cheaper price then the bucket? if price is not affected, then i say bucket.

      on the note of the bucket, i was really excited about the look of the new bucket in previous pictures…. the pic above shows a bucket which resembles the seachem reefsalt bucket. no bueno! :(

      @pavlo, that is just a GBD mock up. The final Aquavitro design is still up in the air… as is the container it will be in. I would imagine the box would be cheaper by weight. Boxes typically come in “200g” sizes while buckets are “160g”.

      @Nicholas, PFK broke the news on this one. There will be 6 models from 750-6,500lph. They listed prices in sterling– 30.95-85.95.

      That puts it at $50- $140USD.

      @Eric-thanks a lot…something to think about.

      @Pavlo-if I could find a Vortech at the right price, I’d LOVE to have another. I’ve never been anything but completely pleased with my MP40. Their customer service is just fantastic and the pump is too.

      …new reefkeeping.com mag is crap, the previous version was better IMHO

      now if only Vortech and GHL would sit down and sort something out…
