		<description>I&#039;m an industrial electrician, I mainly deal with motors and power factor correction, which is done by adding reactive load (cap banks). A pump or motor is no more likely to melt with a low pf then a high pf. As a hobbyist and a professional electrician I&#039;d love to see some data backing up the melting pump due to pf claim. Manufacturers using pf a selling point in this hobby is purely a marketing gimic and nothing more.</description>
