Fauna Marin has come out with a new two part epoxy that is making waves in Germany and Canada for its fast cure time. The putty is reportedly very soft and pliable allowing it to fill any gaps between corals and rocks for a lasting bond. When it cures the color is a dark gray that blends in well, unlike many stark white epoxies.
IME even the better epoxies take ~20min to cure fully. Fauna touts this new formula takes only 5 to become hardened. When building an aquascape with 5+ pieces of rock, the difference of 15mins in cure time can make or break the overall shape and quality of the structure. To compliment the epoxy, Fauna Marin has also come out with their own Cyanoacrylate glue.
No word on when these will be available in the U.S, when we get word expect an update here.
