Last night LiveAquaria.com posted a beautiful pair of Chaetodontoplus conspicillatus Angelfish in their well known Diver’s Den section. The pair measures in at just 3.75″ and 4.25″. For C. conspicillatus, anything under 5″ is difficult to obtain and very limited in the trade. With a price tag of USD $4,000 these are not cheap fish, however, if split, these Conspics could easily sell for $2,500 each… which in some completely irresponsible and fish-addict way makes the price reasonable for the angelfish die hard. Plus, where else can you find a 14-day guarantee on a pair fish that costs more than a Kia and mortgage payment combined?
Our readers have a track record of purchasing the rare and unusual and we would not be surprised if one GBD readers purchases this beautiful duo… For some additional eye candy of what this rare angelfish duet may look like swimming in a reef, check out this video of a Conspicillatus pair residing in the reef tank of French aquarist Olivier Dub.

Gorgeous pair.
If I had the room, I would have jumped on it last night. It is not to often that you get a chance to aquire two beautiful Conspicillatus angels. Knowing that they are coming from Kevin & Live Aquaria’s Diver’s Den, I would be able to sleep easy
Still available?
Sadly not. They were sold nearly 1 year ago.
