Korallen Zucht, makers of ZEOvit, have come out with their new Coral Light Super Blue T5 lamp to be paired with their popular New Generation Coral Light and Fiji Purple bulbs. The new KZ Super Blue is a 20K look in a T5 fluorescent–available in 24, 39, 54 and 80w. Expected prices are to range from $27 to $36 USD.
Korallen Zucht is remaining tight lipped on the new Super Blue. We don’t have any bare lamp photos or additional information… at this time. So far their past lamps have all been promising with the Fiji Purple being one of the most unique T5 lamps for reef aquariums.
We do have some updates photos of the Korallen Zucht show tank showing the new Super Blue bulb being used in combination with the Fiji Purple and New Gen Coral Light. Compare these to our previous ones and you can see the extra 20K-like punch that the Super Blue provide.
These are currently available via KZ’s online shop. Expected these to hit U.S. retailers as we enter 2010.
