After ending a hellish week I decided it was time to indulge in some gadget gratification. As much as I love my older Nokia smartphone,  it was on the fritz and time for an upgrade. The iPhone was the obvious choice, and I am already enthralled by its abilities. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to put down…!

Now that I am halfway to mobile aquarium controller bliss, I am even more tempted to pick up an AC3 to utilize the AquaNotes App by Null River. For now I think I’ll wait until some kinks are worked out and see what other aquarium related applications developers will put out. If there’s anything we have learned from the controller craze of ‘08, it’s to be patient.

With the iPhone, we’ll be able to give you all better live coverage at different events and you can also expect more Twitter updates. If you’re not, you can find & follow GBD @: twitter.com/glassboxdesign

Currently I am using the standard WordPress App and Twitterfon, although Nat & Espen have suggested Twitterific and Tweetie which I will give a try. If anyone has any insightful applications, feel free to share.

  • Almost one year in with my iphone, and I ain't looking back. You should consider making GBD properly 'iphone' useable - drop me a mail and I'll point ya in the right direction;)

As for apps, highly recommend twitteriffc, ebay and of course a few games to keep you busy.
