Other standout’s include Phillip Schellers piece titled Deep Reef, Hungry Reef covers non-photosynthetic corals, with specific feeding tips to help sustain species like Dendronephthya.

Charles Delbeek shares some of the rarest fish in the world like the deepwater and newly discovered Centropyge abei. (Sidenote:  we have some exciting HI deepwater news to come).

Lastly, Mathew Wittenrich has us excited with his article on beautiful hermit crabs entitled Life in a Shell.

If you’re not yet subscribed to CORAL, we highly encourage it. There are only 6 issues per year, but the content more than makes up for it. Two thumbs up to CORAL for covering “hot” topics of the moment.

Awesome! Feels like I just got my last issue, which is great…keep ‘em coming. I also received the first issue of Reef Life magazine a week or so ago and while I haven’t read it completely yet, it is good (although, IMHO, not quite Coral magazine). Great writers and pictures though. Bring on more and more aquatics magazines. So much changes so quickly in the aquatics world, we can never get enough LEGITIMATE information. Thanks!
