The Copper Lined Cardinalfish (Apogon margaritophorus) is a Western Central Pacific species that has recently shown up in the trade with fair regularity. I am not sure what it is about this fish, but in groups of 5+ their fast twitch darting and tight-knit swimming patterns puts on a real display. They are not rare or costly, but an often ignored species that can add live and vibrance to any reef tank.
Thankfully A. margaritophorus is also one of the hardier Apogons. In general this genus as a whole does not ship well. I always recommend using solid containers, instead of nets to prevent any damage to their soft scaled skin. In my experience once settled in the Copper Lined Cardinal does quite well and will quickly be begging for food with the rest of your fish.
