And.......he lost most, if not EVERY fish to velvet. People hailing such actions as heroics and mastery is foolish. I see it as impatience and poor practice, IMO.

The only thing is...its too STERILE. I mean its nice and all but what ocean is THAT well STERILE?

After reading his RC thread, I am rather disturbed with his fish husbandry practices, to teh point where I am not impressed with this tank. To routinely and haphazardly add fish with no QT or treatment as needed. He "doesnt believe" in QT or chemical treatment. That disgusts me, especially as he is adding fish KNOWN for maladies, and is just "crossing his fingers". This is a young tank, and will suffer its growing pains, especially with practices such as that.

absolutely remarkable!! i followed his thread from the start and never imagined it amounting to something as spectacular as this. It resets the standards for reefing that i had once set in my mind.

  • Cool tank. Looks really clean. Good aquascaping.

Still think the coolest home aquarium ever is the drop-off reef http://glassbox-design.com/2009/philippe-grosje...

I think this is the nicest home aquarium in the world. At least that I've seen. And there is only one other (the concave-fronted Dutch aquarium), which is even in the same ballpark. Well done Ching! You certainly are drinking VERY good wine :)
