Again Aqua Design Amano shows off its creativity and style, this time with a new aquarium stand made from glass. The Glass cube cabinet comes in clear or mist, a sandblasted glass that gives a frosted look. It is the same glass used in the construction of ADA’s rimless garden cube aquariums, making the two a perfect pair.
For stability a wooden based is added to the bottom, with a wooden top added to the larger 60 size. The only other available sizes are for the Mini M and Mini S. The 60 size can hook up with the Solar 1 or Solar II light stand, as shown above.
These again are aimed at the freshwater crowd, but with some creative plumbing or an hang on the back / all in one design there is no reason these cannot be used for reefs. It may not be the most practical, but it’s a fresh take on aquarium stands at a mass produced level. I have seen and discussed similar designs from Taiwan. With ADA’s there’s a chance to get them here in the States.
