@Chris, Yes the bubble plate is removable for complete cleaning.

Conscious or not, aesthetics always matter to a degree. For these premium products it will always be a part of the product and price tag. The good news is there is ample competition among skimmer manufacturers, giving us consumers plenty of innovation and choices.

WOW
it's look like a M$ skimmer
I didn't see screw in the Bubble plate,is it a removable?

generally speaking, its looks likes we are in skimmermania , skimmer manufactures gives too much attention making the skimmers prettier, while the most important thing is the performance, reliability & maintainability.
let's not forget the skimmer isn't a furniture - it's just another filter under the cabin.

No, the white is not an upcharge. Technically, the white is less expensive material than the red.

OK...that is the "sexiest" looking skimmer I've ever seen (I know, do looks 'DO" matter!!! LOL)
Hopefully the White Version is not considered an upcharge...
Is there an ETA for this new design?

These are beautiful. I would say that there is arguably a performance upgrade as well, since a removable baseplate makes cleaning infinitely easier, which means you do it more frequently, which leads to better performance.
