      It’s been 4 months of operation with the Vertex running a SE 400w Radium 20k lamp and it is working great. I get about the same amount of PAR I was getting with the IceCap electronic ballast (older model – M400MH-1-HF-CAD metrolight ballasts).
      Actually I get slightly better numbers but I can’t be very scientific with a hand held PAR meter so I would say about the same. It runs cooler than the IceCap. Very satisfy with the product. Thanks again to Glassbox-design.com for the prize!
