We received this trio of 1″ Lyretail Anthias (Pseudanthias cheirospilos) from LiveAquaria’s Diver’s Den earlier today. When I saw the photo on Diver’s Den I realized they were small, but I had no idea how small. To give you a size reference, the glass they are in below is less than 3.25″ in diameter!
They have taken to their home and are quite a riot to watch. Very few fish can make people smile, but these little ones have no problem. A few non-aquarists friends that stopped by today were left enthralled (and laughing) by these tiny energetic fish. Just a teaser photo for the time being, more photos to come of these guys and a new trio of Apogon Cardinalfish.
