Hi Jeff,

Those are Sch 80 true union ball valves. They can be purchased through plumbing stores or specialty aquarium shops. Mine were purchased locally, but a google for “True Union Ball Valves” pulls up a few online retailers.

What are the connection called that you are using with the orange knobs. Where would I be able to purchase something like these. I am using a Euro CS 100. They look clean and easy.

Hi WP,

We have not gotten to test it out with the changes in mind… lately I have been very busy with work. This was the first RX150 in the USA, and my testing is still not complete as Jon sent me another pump to try. I will follow up with an update, just a bit behind right now.

Take my tinkering comments with a grain of salt. As I test the skimmer I want to try a variety of set ups to see where it performs best. e.g. air restriction, input, feed type, etc.

It seems as though it may have impressed initially, but not follow through with the initial impression?
Per your statement:

It seems it needs a little bit more tinkering and is not as out of the box as it seemed???

Any more updates? I would like to see performance after 3 months. Has it held up? or has performance dropped since initial set up?
