Euro Reef has released their New Calcium Reactor. ER is rating these for 180 lightly or 125 heavily stocked. No major changes from the units sent out for testing. Expect to see these at the stores for $400. The most notable features are the “Euro-Loc” quick disconnect top for easy media replacement and recirculating Co2 loop. We just hope the “Euro-Loc” top will not prevent the loop from functioning properly. It appears to have a small reduction or bell, but nowhere near the size of Schuran or ATB.
Jens Kallmeyer reveals his successful Azoo recipe. Included in this is Fauna Marin’s newest product, not yet released Compound X from Resident Evil. Jens says it will either be available as a separate additive or as part of the new UltraMinD.
The Sunset or Neon Wrasse, Bodianus sanguineus, is supposedly available for just $3000. An uncommon fish, very rarely seen in the trade.

Papua New Guinea has recently opened for livestock exports. Some extra steps have been taken to properly train divers for proper and ethical collecting in this area and some special things are coming in like this beautiful “Super Maroon” Clownfish (Premnas biaculeatus).
PNG is also reportedly full of dark True Perculas. In order to preserve the unique clowns of the area only a limited number will be collected and supposedly anemones will not be removed to ensure future populations.
