Proline is smart. Very smart. Knowing height restrictions under stands is always a problem they came up with this screw drive zeovit reactor to release the mulm from the zeolites. (They can turn in both directions to eliminate jams.) The 1.5L and 3L models are only 18″ tall, with the 5L at 23″ making a comfortable fit for most. They should be at retailers in 2-3 weeks.

Very nice design. Any more images? If that screw could be set by timer or controller to churn one direction or the other at set intervals…

an auto “screw” (sounds dirty) would be great.

Are you guys going to be running stones / basic 4 or just a few of the zeo products?

Holding off on running the basic 4. we were ready to jump in, but everything is going well right now …didnt want to make too many changes at once.
We’ll be trying coral snow and some of seachem’s aquavitro line. Then I’d like to try BBalance and CV.
I’ve used the 1.5L Auger reactor for 10 days, and am very disappointed with it. In fact the manufacturer, Proline, has agreed to take it back and exchange it for one of their Silver Series twin tube reactors.
This unit jams–not as bad as classic single tube reactors–but none the less it jams and causes frustration and elbow grease to get the stones moving again. The stress and friction from 3 days worth of these jams caused my unit to form cracks in the acrylic emanating from the lower Uniseal (pump inlet).
I highly recommend to stay away from these units unless you have a VERY low cabinet and the Auger’s height saving feature is of supreme importance to you.

Thanks for the heads up. Very disappointing to hear, we really liked the simplicity and originality of this design. We hope Proline can make some adjustments to make this design work.
