Browsing Tuarrecife, we came across this pendent. Simple clean lines, exposed bolts, we find it to be one of the more attractive fixtures. The best part is it does not have the “spaceship” pendent look that is so common in the hobby. I know it will make a few feel the urge to say “I told you so” to all the other lighting manufacturers. A low profile metal box is all it takes.
Past the initial looks, the built in programming that is available on the CurrentLine is of considerable interest. It has two independent controls for Metal Halide and T5’s, with the T5’s being dimmable from 3-100%. As if that wasn’t enough, it also have lunar simulation and sunrise/sunset simulation built in.
PAR and Spread numbers aside, this is one of, if not the best MH+T5 pendents we’ve come across. For more info go to their website at Riff-systems.de

No we have not… I don’t believe Riff Systems imports to the US, but perhaps they will with enough demand.
Those arent exactly new…. if you look at the 2006 interzoo under arche-noah, I think you will see them there as well. Its alot of design, but the reflectors look so-so.

They did show an older model in 2006, but it is my understanding they have since revamped them. Looking at the two, they do show differences.
They teamed up with someone and created the company Riff Systems to sell the new Xtreme Light and Ledux models. (Correct me if I am wrong. My German is near non-existent.)
Sadly we haven’t them in person, let alone any close up photos of the reflectors.
