[...] Bubble Pioneer from Singapore has released a new external series to add on to its popular cone skimmer line. These still have not made it outside of Asia, but I would imagine it’s only a matter of time.
Hi

I found the price list for these skimmers at http://www.chuisui.com/viewthread.php?tid=10572#pid305663

Seems a bit dearer in price and has a third model that is larger. Is there a store selling them in Singapore or somewhere cheaper.

I saw another cone out of Taiwan a while back too. It was the same as the KZ, but with no coloured acrylic.

It might be outside the KZ patent because how the pump is mounted inside the base of the skimmer. In the details of the KZ patent... this 'bubble magus' style pump mounting isnt really covered by the KZ patent... hard to say for sure though with that cylindrical base on the cone body though.

Like I mentioned before, the KZ patent actually covers design details that would pit it against the BK Supermarine more than any other current skimmer out there (and where are these rumors coming from about BK SM's getting that neck shape patented? That shape was patented by Aquamedic long ago... just move the bottom of the collection cup down on the SM and you have a Turboflotor 5000 series).
