Warner Marine had a great display showing many of their products as well as Greg Carrol’s fine coral collection. Greg sold out quick, and understandably so. The coloration on his Acroporas were great, particularly his A. efflorescens. Jon Warner, owner of Warner Marine, was one of the few exhibitors that actually showed his equipment in action.
On Greg’s fragment tank, Jon showed his HOB model skimmer. New models will be revamped with a bubble plate in the near future, but the performance and air density from this simple design was impressive.
This 9000HO powered skimmer had people stopping by. Many doubt Sedra pumps in general, but Warner Marine has managed to create an affordable, high performance, and most importantly in the case of the 9000–a quiet pump.
You don’t have to take my word for it. The 9000 HO easily surpassed 1000 lph. This shot was taken around 8:00am Saturday morning, but the air draw increased significantly as the pump settled in later that evening.
Jon also showed these two monsters. I’m not sure of the dimensions, but they were massive. Dual recirculating Eheims + bubble plate… a hard combination to beat. The model below has dual 9000HOs for even more air input.
Lastly, WM showed their new Zeo Reactors, another simple but effective design. Along with this reactor there was the full line up of WM supplements, including their carbon dosing friendly Potassium and Amino Acid solutions.
