		<description>Hi Joanthan,

I am not aware of any places selling it besides stores in Japan. The bulbs are self-ballasted and I believe retail at about $100 US, I am not sure about the fixture itself. If I find out more I will post it here.

Cheers,

		<description>Hi Vince,
We do not use this self-ballasted MH, but we do use other halide spots. (if you see our recent pictures you can see the reflection of one of the spots) this one in particular is made to run on 50hz as it has an internal ballast, but in general bulbs will work here if the proper ballast is used.

I believe I have tracked down a ballast that will fire high kelvin MH spots @ 24watts...just working on getting the bulbs shipped here from Japan.

		<description>Hi~

Do you have any japanes lighting system and use it?
I know japan is 50hz environment.. How can you solve this problem?

I am also very interested in japanese spot lighting but in korea it is 220v/60hz so it is not easy to use this and the cost is a little too high.

<description>Those are slick. Those would be great for a little 20K supplement to a tank. Looks like a rimless tank is a must though... nice find.</description>
