Hi David,

There is not a controller of anytype. Honestly I do not know of the light output, but it would be difficult to compare to either the Solaris or Aqua Illumination unit without hard and honest numbers.

As of now I do not think LEDs are ready to provide core lighting for reef tanks. In another year or two they very well may be. Currently T5s and high PAR Metal Halides can provide more light for less watts.

To answer your question on price they range from $1,000 to $5,500... :)

The unit looks fantastic. Is there a controller for it to dim the lights, activate the moonlight, and adjust the colour?

How much does it cost?

It seems better than the Solaris. What do you think?

Is it time to make the move to LED? I think it probably is.

[...] InterZoo 2008 - Sfiligoi Releases more info We showed some photos of Sfiligoi’s latest LED fixture. Although in the same metal skin, we mis-named it as a Stealth. Sfiligoi is calling it the Galaxy and have released additional specs on it. The Galaxy will be available in all LED and LED+T5 configurations, as shown here. This photo from InterZoo was taken by our friend […] Copyright © 2008 glassbox-design.com.
