Fauna Marin (Updates at Bottom of page)
FM Showed off it’s new Ultra cradle. It looks like a typical ceramic frag mount, with an indentation in the center to allow easier attachment of Acroporas.
They also showed the new and improved Zeomatic. For those of you that remember we previously posted about this auto-reactor; Here’s a video of it in action.

Still no word on some of the newer supplements (Sorry L) But we have images of their display at InterZoo and their “new”Blue line skimmers and foods.

New Additives
Stonyreef posted a question in the comments below, regarding the new rumored additives UltraMin D and Ultra Bio Activ. We spoke with Claude, owner of Fauna Marin and here’s the scoop on his latest creations.
After recently changing UltraMin S to be geared for SPS corals it created a need for a nutritional amino supplement for Dendronephtya corals and hence the development of UltraMin D. (The last letter relates to the intended animal S-SPS, D- Dendronephtya) UltraMin D will be another product in Fauna Marin’s arsenal of azoox supplemental feeds.
Ultra Bio Activ is a coral food that also clears water, brightens coral coloration, and increases skimmer production. We’re not sure what corals will benefit from this most…Claude mentioned he may stop by and give more detailed information, stay tuned.

Did you happen to see any info on the new azoox products? Claude said they were going to be showing a new ‘UltraMin D’ (aminos?) and ‘Ultra Bio Activ’ (maybe an improvement on their Ultra Bio basic bacs?).

Those skimmers look nice, but do they offer anything beyond an ATI BM or BK? (besides a cool blue color)
The design does not appear to be drastically new, it’s near the same as the previous models with the exception of the 2 new sizes and meshwheel option.
The largest model looks to be using an AB5000 which can pull a good amount of air per watt.
Those frag plug are going to be a hit. I know I will use them!
