Eheim
Eheim pumps are known for the quality and quietness; and now any reefer can buy a complete stock NW skimmer pump manufactured by Eheim. The reverse NW or closed NW design is similar to the new H&S NW. We have confidence in Eheim that the Compact will perform, but we do miss the classic Eheim look of the 1250/60/62 models.
Eheim Also showed off their new Scuba Cubes. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely we will get them here in the US.
Sander
Tunze seems to have taken it’s design cues from the boat propeller…where as Sander seems to have taken theirs from a jet turbine. When we first say photos of this massive stream pump we thought it was a large eductor. We’re not completely sure on the specs yet, but it looks to be aimed at the large tank crowd… Here’s a video of it in action, may take a minute to load: Sander Stream Video.
Blau Aquaristic
We have seen Blau mentioned on other boards for their skimmers (Re-Badge Octo’s) but we were surprised by their slime Lumina T5s and overall display. Perhaps they took some lines from ATI and others, but it’s nice to see other options. Check out their little freshwater planter rimless aquarium!
