Speaking with a few others that have kept some Roaops over the years it seems the darkening is not uncommon, I even experienced it with our Declivis. After a few months she should lighten up and show more of her yellow flavoesque coloration. Still stuck on a name for this one, I was thinking Prius…
Since the Hybrid’s introduction it has caused a drastic change in our Declivis. His food intake has not increased, but he has quickly matured and filled out in a matter of weeks. I have not witnessed or heard of anything like this before.
Speaking of poor cameras, a new DSLR is on the way. Once I get some practice with it, more shots will be posted here and on Flickr. For now this is as good as it gets. The lights are not nearly this blue in person.
