I haven't actually had a chance to see the NW yet either, so I'm not positive on the design. I'm guessing that it is similar to the other pinwheel style Deltec impellers. Apparently this skimmer is rated similarly to the standard AP1006 with 6 eheim NW pumps. That particular skimmer is being run on a approx. 2000g fish holding system.
