we had planned to pick it up tomorrow morning, but this will give us  more time to finalize the plumbing and planning to transfer the livestock.

What material is your builder using to skin the stand? I think I’m going to make some panels to use above my new tank. Right now I’m thinking translucent red plexiglass (allows shadows and light to pass, but you dont actually see through it), but I’m still debating whether to do that or use solid panels.

it’s a white laminate material. i’m not sure what kind exactly, we just told him we wanted a solid white laminate.

    red plexi….hmmm
sounds scary mike, i think we need to have a talk ;o)

i’d go with a solid opaque or nice veneer.
