Is it my style? No, but it’s a unique design that has the potential too look great in the right setting. One benefit of this design is the built in light rack, allowing easy hanging of pendants.
Although lacking some style and beauty, the Medusa is a very cool aquarium. If you’ve wanted some Jellyfish this may be just for you.
Another item that caught our eye was Aqua Medic’s new Turboflotor 400 in tank protein skimmer. Its basic and simple design will allow it to be hidden well in smaller aquariums. Aqua Medic suggests attaching it directly to the aquarium side with silicone or with the supplied feet. It is powered by a 12w pump and fitted with the patented Aqua Medic Needle Wheel.
Very few square skimmers have good collection cups, but the Turboflotor 400’s gentle sloping cup looks to be a winner. At 9″ x 4″ x 15″ this skimmer is just asking to be used in a small modern rimless nano reef.
